
Dr. Bruce Hansbrough
Chiropractic physician, Board Certified Occupational Health
Doctor Bruce Hansbrough is a 1993 graduate of the Life University, in Marietta, Georgia. He completed occupational health residency in 1997 at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis and is certified with the American Chiropractic Board of Occupational Health. Doctor Hansbrough is also board certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, through the American Academy of Manual and Physical Medicine. These unique programs included training in advanced chiropractic analysis, diagnostics, anesthesiology, clinical diagnosis, physical medicine, rehabilitation, medical care, work-related illnesses and injuries, human relations, industrial safety, substance abuse, and workers’ compensation. Dr. Hansbrough also specializes in DOT medical examinations and physical certification.
Doctor Hansbrough speaks nationally on topics relating to occupational health, safety and wellness, is a past President of the American Chiropractic Association Council on Occupational Health and has served as a post-graduate professor of occupational health at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He also is an advisory member for the national Workers’ Compensation Research Institute and is invited annually to speak at the Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute Educational Conference and Workers’ Compensation Research Institute.
In addition to caring for patients at Harmony Healing Arts Center, Doctor Hansbrough serves as a private industry consultant for many local, regional, and national companies, and area municipalities. He was the Director of Industrial Health Solutions, a corporate health and safety company from 1996 to 2007. Doctor Hansbrough is a certified physician with the State of Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation.
Doctor Hansbrough served as a commissioned officer for 22 years in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve with three tours of duty in the Middle East and Persian Gulf region. He resides in Palm City, Florida with his wife Nancy of 17 years. He has one son Bruce Jr. and one grandson Kamran.
